Learn photography tips and techniques as well as building a sketch book or blog to reflect on the chosen project title. Young people will choose their project title after a group discussion and research. We will explore various photography techniques in detail. Activities will be set each week to help them progress as they build up a portfolio of images. Examples of past projects below. ‘A day in the life of Abi’  ‘My SUMMER’ ‘Life as a teenager’

There will be 4 90 minuet photography sessions, 10:30am -12pm, held at Victoria park where young people will discuss and challenge their photography skills and projects. We will meet for the first session on Monday 29th July 2019 and then young people will be given a challenge to do over the 2 week gap. We will then meet again for 3 continuous weeks finalising our photography projects. (19th & 26th August, 2nd September)

By the end of the 4 weeks your child will have a better understanding of photography and will be using creative tips and techniques to take more meaningful photographs. We will explore the venue and local area to hunt for the perfect photographs as part of a photography challenge.

At the end of the project each young person will receive their favourite photo printed and framed to commemorate their summer project.
